EMRIE publishes its first newsletter

The European Mining Regions Innovation Ecosystems supporting the Circularity and Resource Efficiency (EMRIE) project has published its first newsletter, highlighting the latest activities and milestones of its interregional cooperation journey.

Funded by the Interreg Europe programme, EMRIE brings together 11 partners from 9 European countries to strengthen innovation ecosystems in mining regions. The project aims to support regions in developing more circular, resource-efficient and sustainable mining ecosystems, while improving regional policies related to raw materials, innovation, land use and mining governance.

Through peer learning, study visits, stakeholder engagement and the exchange of good practices, EMRIE facilitates knowledge sharing between European mining regions and supports the adaptation of regional policy instruments.

The first newsletter includes highlights from recent interregional activities, the EMRIE and S3P Mining Regions meetings in Seville, the exchange of good practices and the study visit to Cobre Las Cruces.
