The Green Deal Industrial Plan: Securing an energy transition 'Made in Europe'
Europe is at a pivotal moment in its industrial development. We have a narrowing window of opportunity to match the US and China in the race for global clean tech leadership, leveraging the strengths of the EU single market. To compete in this race, Europe must drive forwards competitiveness and investment across the full supply chain, including raw materials, product manufacture, and recycling. The US Inflation Reduction Act has shown what a proactive industrial policy can look like and the EU should learn from it.
The Green Deal Industrial Plan: Securing an energy transition “Made in Europe” will bring together international experts from this field to debate next March 15th from 09:30 to 11:00h how the brand-new EU Critical Raw Materials Act needs to work within the wider Green Deal Industrial Plan to secure Europe’s clean energy technology supply chains. In-person participants are invited to join a welcome coffee at 09:00, before the event starts at 09:30.
