EIT Raw Materials Summit 2025
From 13 to 15 May 2025, Brussels will become the epicenter of Europe’s raw materials ecosystem as it hosts the EIT RawMaterials Summit — the flagship event driving dialogue, innovation, and action for a secure and sustainable raw materials future in Europe.
Organized by EIT RawMaterials, Europe’s largest raw materials innovation community, the Summit will bring together key stakeholders from industry, academia, research, startups, and EU institutions. The goal: to accelerate progress toward strategic autonomy, circularity, and the green transition through innovation and collaboration.
This year’s agenda will focus on some of the most urgent and impactful topics shaping the sector today:
- Securing supply of critical raw materials for Europe’s clean tech and digital industries
- Fostering circular economy solutions and closing material loops
- Boosting innovation and entrepreneurship through industrial ecosystems
- Developing skills and talent for the future raw materials workforce
- Strengthening partnerships between public and private actors across the value chain
Participants will gain insights into European policy developments, explore funding opportunities, and discover cutting-edge technologies that are redefining how we source, process, and reuse materials.
With global demand for raw materials rising and geopolitical tensions challenging supply chains, the 2025 Summit comes at a pivotal time. It offers a unique platform to align efforts, share knowledge, and shape a resilient and responsible future for raw materials in Europe.
